Upon arrival at Heho airport you will be welcomed by the local English speaking guide. Drive to Pindaya (2 ½ hours, 60 km) and visit the cave temple called Shwe U Min Pagoda, housing over 8000 Buddha statues dating back to 18 to 20 century. One the way you will have chance to visit the villages on the road side and enjoy the landscape with colorful vegetables fields. Drive to Kalaw (beautiful hill station town with charming colonial style building). Over night stay at one of the hotel in Kalaw.

After breakfast at the hotel drive to the place where you will meet the trekking guide and start walking to Kan Par Ni village (1 ½ hours). Visit the different families of the village and see the pottery and black smith workshops. Lunch will be served at the monastery of the village. After lunch proceed to Waa Gyi Myaung village (located on the highest mountain of Inle lake region, 3 hours) through different villages of Taung Yoe, Danu and Pa O ethnic minority.
After having very simple breakfast (prepared by your trekking) take the decanting foot path to Kyauk Ngek village (1 ½ hours) where you can visit the school of the village and try to have the experience of teaching the school children of the village. Continue walking to Khaung Daing village (located on the western shore of the Lake) through the forested valley (2 hours). Upon arrival to Kaung Daing take the boat to explore the lake and enjoy the ways of life of people living on the lake for the remaining time of the day.
